Angelo State University updated their main university website on Sunday, Dec. 6. The university made the renovated website available to the public the following day on Dec. 7.
The new website features many photos of ASU activities and friendly faces that would be familiar to anyone who regularly spends time on campus or in the ASU community.
Opening the website, viewers are greeted with a screen-sized photo of students celebrating at the Blue & Gold Party, an ASU tradition that takes place during Homecoming Week each year. Students, clad in white t-shirts, throw a cloud of blue and gold powder into the air, screaming and dancing as it rains down and colors the campus green in the colors of the Ram Fam.
Below that, a photoset captioned “Explore,” “Play” and “Lead” highlights the academic opportunities, student life and student organizations available to those who join the ASU community.
Continuing down the page, more photos, quotes and statistics lean into the pride ASU has in the Ram Fam culture. An apply button follows down the right side of the page as viewers scroll, so anyone looking at the site can join the Ram Fam with the click of a button.
"Love the new Angelo State website!" Polical Science instructor Manny Campos said in a social media post.
“I love that now anytime I see the ASU website, I’m reminded of all of the fun things I got to do during my time on campus,” recent ASU graduate, Rylee Martin said.
The new website is up now, at angelo.edu for those interested in checking it out!
