A New Endeavor

Kaitlin Trujillo
Editor-in-Cheif
This summer has been a whirlwind.
I spent a lot of time traveling on planes, buses, cars, and even an old army vehicle in Mozambique.
The time I didn’t spend traveling, I spent working. I don’t like to be bored.
I trekked through alligator infested waters, went cliff jumping, and spent a few days as a counselor at youth camp, but the craziest thing that I have done this summer was accept the job as editor-in-chief of the Ram Page.
For those of you who don’t know, I was not supposed to be the editor-in-chief.
I was planning on being the managing editor under the guidance of Alina Hernandez.
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control, Alina could not attend ASU this semester so I will be taking over.
The entire Ram Page staff wishes her the best and are sorry that she is not going to be working with us this semester.
When I joined the staff last year, I would never have imagined that I would be the one in charge someday, but someday begins now.
I hope to make this paper something that ASU can be proud of.
Please bear with me as I navigate this unfamiliar territory.
I promise to do my absolute best.
This paper is a curveball that I never expected to be thrown my way, but I am standing at the plate, ready to take a swing at it.
There may be strikeouts, homeruns, and a few walks along the way, but I am ready to play.
I can’t wait for all that this year is going to bring.
