In response to "Parking Problem Annoys Again"

Parking is not an issue on the ASU campus. There is plenty of parking, it is just not where students would prefer it to be. The students complaining about parking will not be satisfied until they can pull their car up to their classroom door. Considering that you can walk anywhere on campus in less than 15 minutes, it is ludicrous to wait in your car for 30 minutes for a space to open up.

Financial aid war affects more than lower, middle classes

In the future, college students who hope to graduate without debt will do more than apply for scholarships or participate in work-study programs - they'll also attend elite, Ivy League universities. This seems counterintuitive to us. In the past, whenever someone uttered words like "Harvard" or "Stanford," all I could hear was "expensive" or "life-long debt.

Tragedy helps students live for today

With the deaths that have occurred over the past two weeks here in San Angelo and even across the country, I got to thinking: what if tomorrow was our last day? I have always heard that we are not promised tomorrow. And in the real world, we are not. People shoot others, accidentally kill others in car wrecks and even beat them until they are hanging dead.
