Students get one-on-one help at Tutor Center

The Tutor Center reopened its doors this week to offer free tutoring sessions in the Texan Hall Conference Room and the Centennial Village Sky Room. Tutors offer help with subjects, such as biology, government, history, business, communications and many other subjects.

The conference is slated to host Best-Selling author Mary Karr, best known for her memoir, "The Liars' Club," and multiple award-winning poems, Feb.
SWAG shows heart for Haiti survivors
Sister's Who Achieve Goals raised $550 Tuesday to benefit the relief efforts in Haiti, said Marissa Williams, new member intake coordinator. "We have two Haitian members, so we thought it would be important to do what we could," Lauren Higgins, club spokeswoman, said.

National Study Abroad Award ASU received "Best Practice" for study abroad, and joins past winners such as Rice and the University of Pittsburgh. The Institute for National Education named the Center for International Studies co-winner of the 2010 Andrew Heiskell award.
