Students shouldn't be allowed to carry concealed weapons on the university campus.

Universities have long been considered the pinnacle of expressing one's rights. Whether it is free speech, protest or religion, students passionately expressing their rights have become highly romanticized. Now the Texas legislature wishes to add one more: the right to bear arms on campus.

For as long as I can remember, I've categorized pieces of my life in chapters. There's that chapter when I was seven, and I was pretty sure I was the pink Power Ranger. There's a chapter when I was 16, got my license, a car, a speeding ticket and immediately had my car taken away.

University experiences fly by in the blink of an eye

It seems like the past three years have flow by in the blink of an eye. I'm getting ready to embark on a journey to adulthood, and I really just feel like I'm playing grown-up. While I finished college earlier than most, whether it was from being nerdy or just crazy, I found myself looking at graduation, graduate school, marriage and buying a home all before I am legally old enough to drink.

Dear Editor, Having been in San Angelo only a month or so, and more or less confined to Goodfellow AFB, I greeted with excitement an announcement for Thursday's viewing and panel discussion about The Monster Among Us, a documentary film about growing anti-Semitism in Europe.
